U.S. President Barack Obama has arrived in the West Bank for talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Mr Obama flew in to the city of Ramallah on US Marine One just hours after two rockets exploded in a southern Israeli town near the Gaza border.
After shaking hands and hugging in front of the media, Mr Abbas took the U.S. leader to his presidential compound for talks likely to focus on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Mr Obama was miles away in Jerusalem at the time, preparing to visit the Israel Museum.

There was no word from Gaza, which is ruled by the militant Islamist group Hamas, as to who might have been responsible for the attack.
The rockets were the first to land in Israeli territory since November, when militants fired dozens of missiles in response to Israeli raids that killed a Hamas military chief and resulted in the deaths of dozens of Palestinian civilians.
‘We will be closely watching Palestinian President Abbas today to see if he condemns these attacks from Gaza against Israeli civilians,’ a senior Israeli official said after the attack.

And his disciples heard it.
