These heart-stopping moments show a deranged knife-wielding man going on a ‘Rambo’ hunting rampage at a petrol station as terrified motorists queue for fuel.
The crazed attacker in a Union Jack hoodie forced drivers to take cover inside their vehicles as he went berserk with a huge Bowie-type blade.
Dramatic CCTV images captured the man as he prowled around the forecourt of the Texaco petrol station in Failsworth, near Manchester, and circled stationary cars before stabbing the bodywork and trying to get inside.

The man’s blade caused damage to several vehicles and smashed the windscreen of a taxi during his trail of destruction. Several drivers and passengers were also threatened.
The knife-wielding man eventually fled the forecourt towards a nearby canal but vanished before police could find him.
